You have a Model 1955 Target revolver a preModel 25 The caliber should be stamped on the right side of the barrel It shoots 45 ACP cartridges I believe the barrel is 6 12 This revolver was made for only 2 years before it was renamed the Model 25 and it is an excellent and very collectable firearm but also a first rate shooter
